Christian Juvan
VP Science
Christian is an accomplished physicist whose vision and innovation in the field of plasma technology has created the foundation on which adaptiveARC is built. After working for two years at the University Institute in Vienna in nuclear physics, Christian immigrated to the United States in 1968 to focus his research in the field of electrical pulsed energy. Christian continued his research at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena in the early 70s. During that time he worked on the development of lasers, holography and optical computing. In 1981 Christian received his first patent in the area of pulsed plasma technology and shifted his focus to more entrepreneurial endeavors. Over the years Christian has accumulated 6 patents including one for a method of electricity generation – a distinction that puts him in the exclusive company of Thomas Edison, Nikola Tesla and Werner Von Siemens. Christian Juvan’s contributions to the scientific community have had profound impacts on many different fields. As adaptiveARC grows his contributions will change the way the world views waste.
